Jeffery & Caryn Beth Hakes - Israel

Testimony May 6th in Jerusalem:
Itās been precious, as always, to meet and pray for people on the streets in Israel, sowing the seeds of the kingdom of God in Messiah to their hearts and lives. Yesterday gave quite a unique opportunity to love and minister. As I was walking with a younger intercessor from Succat Hallel going to meet with her to disciple her, we passed by a young Jewish man (around our sonās age) who was asking people for help to pay rent for his young family. He had a legitimate paper from his doctor that his PTSD was so severe that he couldnāt work. Itās been almost 600 days of war and many people in Israel are suffering from the effects. I could sense from the Lord that this young man was a very pure soul. I gave him 100 shekels and expressed genuine kindness and love in God. He spoke enough English to interact with me. He was spiritually hungry and listened intently. I prophesied to him about āEl Roi: God who seesā and is aware of him and his need, and shared Psalm 37, Psalm 121, and 122 with him. Godās Holy Ruach was pouring through me to help him to ālift up his eyes past the hills of life and to focus on God, the Maker of Heaven and earthā (Psalm 121:1). This verse was the center of what the Lord was ministering to the PTSD - praise forever to His everlasting heart.
The young man was from Beit-El... where Jacob encountered the ladder to heaven in his dreams and the voice of God emphasizing His promises. I pointed out to him the inherent ādestinyā of the city he lived in and to try to think of Jacob being his brother (which he is) and know that Godās promises are for him too. I invited him to meditate on them when he went home. He was very eager to do so. I also prophesied to him out of the meaning of his name.
Then I asked if I could pray for him regarding the PTSD, and he was glad for it, so I did.
I believe that itās a privilege to love God by loving anyone - but especially His Chosen People, the Jews. Iāve always been grateful for our call here, both in the Prayer Room, day and night, and in being a part of sharing the love of God for His People.
Please pray for the Jewish people in Israel as they navigate the long-term effects of this 7 front war against terror.
Pray for the Jews that are still dispersed in the nations: for their safety and for their needs to be met when they are ready to make their trek back to Israel; their āAliyahā.
Pray for continued strength for me as the Lord bears His righteous fruit as a 18 year long daily intercessor for Israel and for the maturity of thees international Bride of Christ, as a prophet to many, as an apostolic mentor to several, and in the ministries of miracles, healings, and deliverances.

Don Adamson - Acts 29 Ministries - Haiti

The most exciting thing is that we are navigating the end times. The gangs have come to Casale, but the Holy Spirit is helping us not just survive, but to thrive. (80% of the missionaries can't say that as they are gone.) Sometimes it's day by day, but it's working. Haitians ARE changing Haiti.
"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God..." 2 TIM 3
The most exciting thing is that we will be holding our first graduation since the school's inception in 2013. 19 students who speak French, English, Spanish, and, of course, Creole. They are computer literate, thanks to Starlink. They are healthy now that we have our new water purification system up and running. (600 gallons a day) We have agreements with the farmers that contribute to feeding 10,200 hot meals every 20 days of the month. And more than anything, this graduating class is spiritual. Chapel services are š„š„š„.
Maxime is doing a great job, albeit from St Marc, as the gangs threatened to kill him. He continues to bring the leadership down from the mountains to meet him in safe areas, where he gives them my instructions and budget issues.
And one more surprise is that we have 10 cases of the Fire Bible IN CREOLE! It's a miracle that they finally included the Creole language in the production of the Fire Bible. We're presently in the process of finding a way from the Dominican Republic to the school in time for graduation. š
It's so sad that JB and Henry Claude are not here to see it, but their efforts weren't in vain.
As for needs, our most significant issue is food that we have to buy. The gangs control the port, so there is no more food delivery. With USAID closed down, we have lost a great resource of rice, corn, and oats. We partner with another organization that takes on the danger and risk of working with the gangs to find us food each month. Starvation has reached our villages. Thankfully, we still can feed our children, yet sadly, not others. However, it is 9 times the cost we paid in 2022. (from $400 a month to $3880) Maxime warns me that it will be even higher in September when we return to school.š©Sickness, illiteracy, voodoo witchcraft, threats, Cholera, broken roads... all these things we have overcome. However, if food prices continue to rise and food becomes more scarce, it will obviously affect our ability to run the school.
This is the walk of faith that the scriptures speak of in 2nd Timothy. It's scary, yet exhilarating, as we see the hand of God at work each day. Miracles continue in the mountains.
Much love to you and everyone at Makers Church.

Mark Knauer - Ecuador

As you know I have been in language school here in Costa Rica for the time being, but I'm getting ready to head to Ecuador here in August. So i am super excited about that. But in the meantime, I was able to preach at church to the youth (This was an evangelistic message) and the young adults (about the person and power of the Holy Spirit). So that was a grace of God that I did it all in Spanish! But I have also had the opportunity to play worship for different churches in the area and bless them through that. As for the church in Ecuador, they have started the construction of the church and are hoping to be able to meet in it by the end of the year!
Also, the missionaries have started two other kids groups in some towns over that range from 30-50 kids! As for prayer requests, I am currently praying that all of my documents come in on time and without hassle that I would need for my visa in Ecuador. And just for God to really open my mind to the rest of this schooling so I can communicate the gospel as effectively as I possibly can when I reach Ecuador!

Baseco Childrenās Mission - Philippines

Here's a testimony giving God the glory for the incredible work at the Baseco Children's Mission in 2024:
God's Abundant Grace at Baseco Children's Mission
Praise God for His faithfulness and the incredible harvest we witnessed at the Baseco Children's Mission in 2024! It's truly humbling to see what He has accomplished through our hands and the generous support of our partners.
The spiritual impact has been astounding. We rejoiced over 534 salvations and celebrated as 363 children were baptized, publicly declaring their faith in Christ. The culmination of this spiritual growth was our Praise Party with foam machines and three bounce houses, where over 2,200 children attended, filling the air with joy and worship.
God's provision extended to the physical well-being of the community as well. Our dental and medical clinic was open twice a week for the entire year, providing essential healthcare services to countless children and families. We are particularly grateful that we were able to cure one child of Schistosoma and three children of Dengue fever, tangible evidence of God's healing power at work.
Our commitment to the most vulnerable also saw us take in four more orphans, bringing our total to 16 children, a wonderful family of children who are now healthy, attending school, and excelling in their studies. It's a testament to God's love providing a safe and nurturing environment for these precious lives.
Furthermore, our feeding programs continue to be a lifeline. We are consistently feeding over 200 children a week in Angeles and approximately 150 children in our Baseco Manila area, ensuring these children receive vital nutrition and a glimpse of God's care.
We are immensely grateful to Maker's Church for their unwavering partnership. Your support has been instrumental in making all of this possible. We are excited to see what God has in store for the future and sincerely hope that Maker's Church will consider making a mission trip to Baseco one day to witness firsthand the miraculous work God is doing here.
To God be all the glory!

Cruz and Kaydi Paniagua - Latin America

Exciting Updates & Testimonies:
Family Journey:
The most exciting (and challenging!) decision weāve made as a family is transitioning to Christian homeschooling for our children. Weāre witnessing a beautiful transformation in our homeāfrom my own health journey (Iām running an Ironman this Sunday as part of my weight-loss goal!) to the emotional stability and physical health of my wife. God is faithful!
Ministry Expansion:
- Weāre mobilizing apostolic catalyst networks with over 900 pastors actively involved.
- Launching a mentorship program for frontline Women Pastors in Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador.
- Strengthened a dedicated team of committed leaders to steward this vision.
- Partnering with the Evangelical Council of Venezuela to equip 8,000 pastors in holistic health and church multiplication.
- Recruiting and training 200 emerging pastors (ages 25ā35) to plant churches in strategic cities across South America.
Prayer Requests:
Provision vs. Vision: Weāre wrestling with the tension between walking by faith and securing resources for the expansive vision God has given us. Our annual budget has grown significantly, and weāre trusting for supernatural provision and new donors.
Open Doors: Pray for favor to enter and consolidate work in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguayāour next target nations. (Weāre currently active in 14 countries!)
Next-Gen Leaders: Pray for commitment and endurance for the 200 young leaders in training, as they prepare for ministry.
Weāre deeply grateful for your partnership and prayers! Let me know if youād like more details on any of these.
Blessings,
Cruz

Acts of Kindness - Kyrgyzstan

Julie and I have just returned from spring in Kyrgyzstan. While there we hosted a couple teams from Florida as well as a group of Bible college students from Calvery Chapple in the United States. This was great for us as it gave us the manpower to get the gardens planted, seeds delivered to over 250 families as well as touch base with the many groups and individuals we come along side.
When with you last, we shared how one of our biggest prayer requests was for the finances, and how that meant not just receiving the donations but being able to make it through the banking system ā¦I know now that this request was directed by Holy Spirit. We felt your prayers and support when the next month banking regulations in Canada changed, and we were locked out of being able to receive funds and transfer any funds to Kyrgyzstan. Just days before we headed over in the spring, we were able to open new bank accounts and access funds to bring with us.
Then another answer to prayer once we arrived as we were able to come up with a money transfer service that allows us to make necessary international transfers ⦠and at a cheaper fee then we had in the past.
Through all this we received an unwavering support from Makers Church. Lucy and Andew worked to make the transition possible for us. We could see the Hand of God through this, and your prayers were felt. I cannot begin to share how blessed we feal to have this love, support and prayer coverage. Thank you so much.
We have 8 weeks state side then we will return to Kyrgyzstan to host three teams this fall .. canning goods from the garden to distribute, a home makeover for a young single mother, a playground for a remote mountain schoolhouse, and coal deliveries are on the top of our plans.
Please continue to pray for finances and the leading of Holly Spirit in all that we do.
